In October of 2006 we got a chance to visit with Susan in her lovely Miami condo. She has been here more than a year but this was our first chance to catch her at home. Her place is actually on Coconut Grove, a small island isolated by a causeway over several hundred feet of water. There are three buildings on the island and her condo in on the fifth floor.

The pile of stuff on the dining room table is my computer, camera case, fanny pack and Jean's large black backpack - we am fully responsible for that particular mess. But, we fixed a lot of things while we were there.

The rooms are large and airy with wonderful views over Biscayne Bay. It's like living in a private resort. The grounds are truly park-like with a spa, pool, giant chess board, and elegant restaurant where we completed the day dining outdoors with gourmet food and a very nice bottle of wine.
